AOL Time Warner told Reuters today that it is planning to launch a music download service in Europe by next spring and an online radio station next week. The company says that the new service will be available to AOL’s 6.2 million British, German and French subscribers, and while pricing has not been worked out, AOL says it will feature a per-track download fee similar to iTunes. Meanwhile, “Radio@AOL Broadband,” which is set to launch on October 13, will be a free service offering five radio channels.
