Following the release of StuffIt Deluxe 8.0 last week, Aladdin Systems today announced the availability of StuffIt Standard Edition 8.0, a new Mac OS X version of its industry-standard access and compression utility. The new version includes faster compression, DropStuff filters, new access to newsgroup and Windows formats .yenc and .cab, and integrated HTML help. StuffIt Standard Edition 8.0 is priced at US$49.99.
