Sibelius Software has announced the release of Sibelius 3, a new version of its popular music notation software. Version 3 contains over 170 new features, plug-ins and enhancements. The new version also includes Kontakt Player Silver, which allows users to play back music using high-quality instrumental samples, burn compositions to CD, and create audio files to post on the Internet. Sibelius 3 is priced at US$599 and is available now.
