Aladdin Systems today announced the release of StuffIt Deluxe 8.0, a new version of its industry-standard access and compression utility. The new version allows users to schedule backups and burn to CD or DVD with Archive Assistant, adds plug-ins for Adobe’s Photoshop and Illustrator, and offers improved compression speed and a new user interface. StuffIt Deluxe 8.0 is available now for US$79.99 and requires Mac OS X 10.1.5 or higher.
