MicroWarehouse, the company behind MacWarehouse, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Wednesday, according to Macworld UK. This action follows Tuesday’s announcement that CDW would acquire certain assets from the company for US$22 million. CDW also said that it would take over MicroWarehouse’s operations in both the US and Canada. MicroWarehouse lists assets of over $100 million and debts of more than $100 million. Ingram Micro is listed as the company’s biggest unsecured creditor — the computer distributor is owed $17.9 million.
