“Apple’s Final Cut Pro 4.0 is far more than an upgrade from version 3,” writes Steve Mullen in his review of the software for VideoSystems Magazine. “True, the application has been enhanced in several significant areas. Version 4, however, encompasses far more than an NLE [Non-Linear Editor] application.” VideoSystems’ Frank McMahon praises Soundtrack in his review: “For producers just getting into musical scoring, Soundtrack represents a great first dip into the ocean of audio possibilities. After using the program with Final Cut Pro or by itself, you’ll find the water is quite nice.”
