Several MacMinute readers report receiving e-mails from Apple with details on the delay of the dual 2GHz Power Mac G5. “The demand for the dual processor Power Mac has been overwhelming and our employees are working around the clock to meet demand,” reads a portion of the e-mail. “Initial units will be sent to education institutions to meet key back to school deadlines. We currently anticipate shipping your new G5 Power Mac in 10-15 business days.”
