Apple unveiled the Power Mac G5 on Tuesday at the BIRTV Expo (Beijing International Radio, TV & Film Equipment Exhibition) in Beijing, China. The Beijing Macintosh User Group (BeiMac) was present at the launch of the expo, and has a concise report with photos of the event. “Apple’s stand at this year’s BIRTV Expo in Beijing, capital of China, is remarkably larger than that of the previous year,” reports BeiMac. Apple will officially debut the G5 at launch parties in twenty major Chinese cities starting on September 2, 2003.
