Starting September 2, users of Apple’s iTunes Music Store will be able to download music by The Rolling Stones, one of the last big-name rock bands to allow its music to be distributed digitally. However, subscribers to RealNetworks’ Rhapsody music service will be able to buy music from the Stones starting today, according to the New York Times. In related news, RealNetworks has announced a partnership with Best Buy to promote its digital music service in the electronics merchant’s 560 US stores.
