Apple has released Final Cut Pro 4.0.1, an update to its professional editing software for film, HD, SD and DV. According to VersionTracker, the new version provides “performance improvements and enhancements in several key areas,” all of which can be found here. The update is currently only available via the Mac OS X Software Update preference pane after installing the Pro Applications Support package. Updates for Compressor, Soundtrack, Cinema Tools, and LiveType are also available.
