WiebeTech today announced several new FireWire products including BayDock and Forensic BayDock, FireWire Encrypt and USB2 Encrypt, and MicroGB800. BayDock is a flexible FireWire storage system with one, two or four removable bays and capacity to 1.2 Terabytes. Each drive is supported by an independent FireWire 400 bridge for high performance and may be optionally equipped with an “InfoTray” intelligent LCD indicator, providing the user with immediate visual access to drive health information, such as temperature, time in use and other information. Forensic BayDock offers a write blocked removable drive bay and up to three additional bays for use in computer forensic investigations.
