MacMinute reader Sean Perkins let us know that Volkswagen has begun running its commercial that features Apple’s iPod: “The ad features closeups of a white Beetle, the iPod, a woman using her iPod, taking off the earbuds, getting into the car, and plugging her iPod into a cradle under the dash of the beetle (the cradle is black and seems to stand in between the floor and the round dash of the Beetle, on the passenger side of the front seat). There’s then a shot of the red buttons of the iPod lighting up and then the tag line in the iPod button red ‘Pods Unite.'” As we reported yesterday, VW is pairing with Apple to provide 2003 New Beetle sedan buyers with a complimentary iPod.
