Dantz Development Corporation today announced the immediate availability of Dantz Retrospect 5.1, the latest release of the company’s backup software. Some of the new features in version 5.1 include bootable Mac OS X disaster recovery, support for the latest CD/DVD backup devices, and support for Red Hat Linux clients. Dantz Retrospect 5.1 for Macintosh is available immediately in three editions: Retrospect Server (US$799.00, $159 upgrade, Retrospect Workgroup ($499.00, $99.95 upgrade), and Retrospect Desktop ($129.00, $59.95 upgrade. In addition, Dantz is announcing a 60-day limited-time offer for existing Retrospect customers. Through September 15, 2003, customers who purchase Annual Support and Maintenance will receive an upgrade to Retrospect 5.1 at no additional cost.
