Nisus Software today announced the release of its all-new Mac OS X word processor, Nisus Writer Express 1.0, which has recently completed a successful public beta testing program. Nisus Writer Express has been written from the ground up using the Cocoa frameworks and offers features such as the ability to read/write documents in Unicode, RTF, RTFD, plain text format and Microsoft Word (.doc); a customizable interface; AppleScript and Perl macros; noncontiguous selection; keyboard shortcuts; a Document Manager; three-level Find and Replace including Regular Expressions (GREP); multiple editable Clipboards; and more. Nisus Writer Express is priced at US$59.95 and requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later. A 30-day demo is also available.
