MIS Magazine has published excerpts of an interview with Tony Ho, Apple’s Asia-Pacific vice-president, who joined Apple after 14 years as IBM’s general manager and director of its Greater China PC division. “Apple’s goal in Beijing is to increase market share in its traditional strongholds such as publishing and design, expand into the consumer electronics space with its iPod digital music player, and make inroads into the enterprise space via its Xserve and Xserve RAID servers,” said Ho.
