Realmac Software today released MacMaid 2.0, an upgrade to the company’s desktop organization utility for Mac OS X. MacMaid allows you to manage your desktop by specifying what you want it to do with certain files. By using toolbars, smooth resizing and no confusing custom controls, the utility makes organizing your computer as easy as clicking a button. Version 2.0 is completely rewritten in Cocoa, offers much faster cleaning speeds and an all-new GUI, and numerous other feature additions and improvements. MacMaid 2.0 requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later and costs US$9.95. Upgrades for registered users of version 1 are free.
