Shecom today unveiled its new Ikebana FireWire 800/USB 2.0 Combo external hard drive. The Ikebana ICE-800 Combo, which is both PC and Mac compatible (Mac OS X 10.2.3 or higher), offers the flexibility of 800 Mbps in IEEE-1394B, 480 Mbps in USB 2.0 or 400 Mbps in traditional IEEE-1394, and a storage capacity of up to 250GB. The retail package includes an external AC adaptor, FireWire 800 interface cable, software, and comes with a 1-year limited warranty. The new drive will be ship at the end of this month and is priced at US$289 for 120GB; $449.00 for 200GB; and $579.00 for 250GB models.
