Apple began airing its commercials for the new iTunes Music Store and iPods last night during primetime on NBC. The ads, which we noted in April, feature real people singing songs from famous artists — such as Eminem and Pink — while listening to them on a new third generation iPod. The commercials are done in the same style as Apple’s “Switch” ads — all-white background, camera panning and only one person. The commercials end with: “Your favorite songs. 99¢ each. AppleMusic.com.” Strangely, the ads that were available in QuickTime format have since been pulled from Apple’s Web site.
