HP today announced new printing systems and solutions for small business to “increase business productivity and reduce IT spending,” says the company. Announced today are the HP Web Jetadmin Report Generation Plug-in and the HP Print Server Appliance 4250, a server dedicated to printing that can increase productivity through automatic driver distribution, spooling and print queue hosting. Also announced were the HP Color LaserJet 1500 printer series priced from US$799; the HP Designjet 815 MFP, which integrates large-format color printing, copying and scanning in one device; the HP Designjet Scanner 4200, which brings scanning and copying capabilities to existing Designjet printers; and two new monochrome multifunction products.
