Along with the new eMacs that were rolled out today, Apple also quietly introduced a new keyboard and mouse that will ship with the new desktops. The new Apple Keyboard has a larger base and sports two USB ports on the backside near the cord — unlike the Apple Pro Keyboard, which has USB ports on each side. An Apple spokesperson told MacMinute that the new Apple Mouse is nearly identical to the optical Apple Pro Mouse, but does not offer the user-adjustable click tension feature that lets you fine-tune the clicking mechanism. It is not known whether the new keyboard and mouse will begin shipping with the iMac and Power Mac.
