The new iPods were finally rolled out across the country this evening at Apple’s “Live on Stage” event, which featured a live DJ spinning music on his iPod, T-shirts and posters, as well as a chance to win a JBL sound system worth US$1,800. Tonight’s event at the Apple Store in Columbus, Ohio was a booming success according to all those who attended. Reaction to the thinner and lighter iPods was almost better than one could expect.
