Blackmagic Design today announced the release of DeckLink Pro and DeckLink SP. DeckLink Pro, a 10 bit SDI real time effects Quicktime card with analog video monitoring, and 8 channels of SPDIF audio monitoring, sells for US$1,295. DeckLink SP, an analog component YUV uncompressed video card with analog stereo audio for connecting to analog broadcast decks such as Betacam SP, sells for $1,095. Blackmagic DeckLink Pro will be available the week following NAB, which runs from April 5-10, 2003, while DeckLink SP will be available in late April/early May.
