PC Guardian today announced two new computer security products — the Double Guardian and the Adhesive Mount Mini-Plate. The Double Guardian (US$64.95) is a one-piece computer anti-theft device that secures any two pieces of equipment that feature Security Slots. The Adhesive Mount Mini-Plate ($9.95) allows you to create a Security Slot on a computer that doesn’t have one. It is a solid metal cable-anchoring device about the size of a matchbox that can be attached to the equipment’s outer case using PC Guardian’s super-bonding agent, Zyton.
