Sharp today announced two new additions to its LCD monitor line-up — the LL-T17D3 and the LL-T18A1. The full-featured LCD monitors, 17-inches and 18.1-inches, respectively, deliver “professional performance at budget prices.” The LL-T17D3 (US$499) comes equipped with stereo speakers, is compatible with both analog and digital video inputs, and offers a resolution of 1280 x 1024, 250-nit brightness, 500:1 contrast ratio, and 17ms response rate. The LL-T18A1 is a dual-input monitor (both analog and digital), equipped with a high-performance TFT LCD that achieves a wide viewing angle of 160-degrees, both horizontally and vertically. It offers a high contrast ratio of 350:1, brightness of 250 nits, and is priced at $699.
