Apple today released iPhoto 2.0 and iMovie 3.0.1, two components of iLife, the company’s new integrated suite of digital lifestyle applications. iLife also includes iDVD 3, which is only available in the retail package of the suite for US$49, along with the previously released iTunes 3. The new version of iPhoto includes one-click photo Enhance, a new Retouch tool, photo archiving to a CD or DVD, and more. The new version of iMovie features pro-quality special effects, powerful new audio editing tools and sound effects from Skywalker Sound, and the ability to add chapter markers. iPhoto 2 is a 33.1MB download, while iMovie 3.0.1 weighs-in at 84.5MB; both are available via the Software Update control panel or on the Web.
