Extensis today announced the release of Portfolio 6.1, a new Mac OS X version of its award-winning Digital Asset Management solution. In addition to adding Mac OS X compatibility, Portfolio 6.1 adds long filename support and a recently used catalogs menu when Portfolio 6.1 is running, allowing users to open and access any recently opened catalog by selecting it from a pop-up menu within the Mac OS X Dock. The update is available for immediate download from the Extensis Web site and is free of charge for registered Portfolio 6 users. Boxed versions are expected to ship on February 7, 2003 for US$199.95.
