CenDyne today announced the Gruv-X, a tiny audio transmitter that beams the music on a MP3 player or portable CD player to a nearby home or car FM radio. CenDyne’s “simple and easy-to-use Gruv-X works by sending a signal to a nearby FM radio over an open station to deliver crystal-clear playback of customized MP3, MP3PRO or WMA file music compilations from an MP3 player, or music from a CD or tape on a portable music player.” Gruv-X carries an estimated retail price of US$29.99.
