Hot on the heels of their 1.0.1 release, Apple has posted iCal 1.0.2, the latest version of the popular calendar application. No new improvements were given in the software’s release notes. However, the update appears to fix a problem that Apple identified with iCal 1.0.1, which was detailed in a post on the company’s Web site. “Apple is tracking an issue that may cause users living in time zones 10 hours or more from Greenwich Mean Time to have their calendar data displayed incorrectly. If you are in one of these regions, including Australia (except Perth), New Zealand, Hawaii, Guam or far eastern Russia, we recommend that you do not download this version (1.0.1) of iCal at this time. Please check back Monday, January 6th for more details.” It appears Apple released a fix for this issue a little early.
