Apple has launched an iPhoto Album Contest with three categories: People, Creative, and Nature. Users need only submit a photo album created with Apple’s HomePage iTool to be eligible for the contest. MacPlay Wednesday announced Aliens vs. Predator 2 for the Mac, the sequel to the hit first-person shooter featuring a mixture of Fox sci-fi movie stars. Currently scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2002, Aliens vs. Predator 2 lets players take the role of the Alien, Predator or Colonial Marine in 21 single player missions set in three interlocking story lines. The game also features a robust multiplayer mode featuring 12 multiplayer levels and a variety of team and deathmatch game modes.
