IdeaResources releases irEdit 1.5

IdeaResources today released irEdit 1.5, an update to its popular text-editing software for Mac OS X. Version 1.5 adds built-in FTP support, performance improvements, and the option of setting your deafult window size. The update also allows Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) users to choose which window style they would like to use — standard white-striped windows or textured windows like iTunes and iCal. irEdit is US$20 shareware.

The Omni Group has released OmniOutliner 2.1.1, the latest version of the company’s popular outlining and organizational tool. The update includes OPML importing and exporting, French and Japanese localizations, and improved responsiveness. OmniOutliner is available as a free version or a licensed version (US$30), which allows users to edit documents with more than twenty items.
