Olympus today introduced two new digital cameras: the D-380 and D-520 ZOOM. TheD-380, which lacks an LCD display, features a two megapixel CCD and a small, lightweight design, while the D-520 ZOOM also features a two megapixel CCD, 3xoptical zoom, 2.5x digital zoom, a 1.8-inch LCD display.

Joop Laan has released a Mac OS X version of Screen Dump, a utility that takes screenshots of your desktop at specified intervals and uploads them to a server for viewing remotely. The program is available free of charge.

Plextor today introduced the PlexCombo 20/10/40-12A CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive. The internal drive can burn CDs at 12x speed, burn CD-RWs at 10x, read CDs at 40x, and read DVDs at 12x. The drive will be available in mid-April for US$229, and can be expected to be offered in external FireWire configurations from third-parties.
