The European Union has announced its plan to introduce a new top level domain, .eu, in an effort to further boost its profile, according to CNN. The new domains will be administered and managed by a private sector, non-profit organization, and are expected to become available early next year.

Apple releases WebObjects 5.1.1

Apple has released WebObjects 5.1.1, a new version of its suite of tools and object-oriented frameworks for Mac OS X for building and deploying Web and Java applications, as noted by VersionTracker. Version 5.1.1 adds updated versions of several WebObjects class and jar files, requiring some projects to be rebuilt in order to take advantage of the issues addressed in the update.
