ATI Technologies today introduced the “Entertain Your Mac” Combo, a limited edition package consisting of ATI’s RADEON 7000 Mac Edition PCI graphics card and the ATI XCLAIM TV USB Edition, an external TV tuner for Mac OS 8/9. The “Entertain Your Mac” Combo will be available next week for US$199. The Radeon 7000 sells for $129 on its own, while the TV Tuner sells for $99.

MYOB, Inc. today announced MYOB FirstEdge, a basic accounting solution for Mac OS 8/9 and Mac OS X designed for new or small Mac-based businesses, according to MacCentral. The software features 83 starter charts of accounts and customization options, banking and financial transactions support, sales and receivables, support for easily locating transactions, contacts, reports, jobs, and more. MYOB FirstEdge is available now for US$99.

PC Magazine has published a comparative review of Adobe InDesign 2.0 and QuarkXPress 5.0, the two industry-leading publishing applications. PC Magazine awarded a narrow edge to Adobe InDesign, calling it “the desktop publishing program of the future.”
