Alias/Wavefront to debut new product; cut prices

3D graphics developer Alias/Wavefront is expected to announce a new product later today and at the same time make drastic price cuts on two of its most popular products. USA TODAY is reporting the company will cut the price of Maya Complete to US$2,000 from $7,500 and Maya Unlimited to $7,000 from $16,000. Details of the new product have not been released and a press conference is scheduled for later today.
