Your Mac Life, an Internet-based Mac radio show hosted by Shawn King, has announced its lineup for tonight’s broadcast (21:00 – 23:00 ET), which will feature David Pogue, Columnist for the New York Times, and Stan Flack, Publisher of this Web site, about Apple and the Mac and where they are headed. Apple files suit against Sorenson

Apple is suing Sorenson Media in an effort to prevent the company from licensing its video compression software to Macromedia, according to a report on Bloomberg today. Apple claims that Sorenson is in breach of contract, as the company previously signed an agreement with Apple preventing them from “developing, marketing, or licensing” any form of their compression technology used in QuickTime.

eMac, PowerBook G4 developer notes posted

Apple’s has released the developer notes for the new eMac and updated PowerBook G4. The notes offer a plethora of technical information regarding both systems. Apple is officially referring to the latest PowerBook G4 as the “PowerBook G4 (DVI).” Previous PowerBook G4s are referenced as Titanium (400MHz, 500MHz) and Gigabit (550MHz, 657MHz).
