As reported by c|net, laptops made up 23.8 percent of worldwide computer shipments in the first quarter of 2002, up from 22.3 percent, 20 percent, and 18.2 percent in the first quarters of 2001, 2000, and 1999, respectively. IDC expects laptop sales to exceed 25 percent of total sales within the next three years.

Feral Interactive has posted Black & White 1.1.5, an update to the strategy game that includes the first beta of the game’s multiplayer patch. Casady & Greene yesterday released Glider Pro X 3.0.1, an update to the Mac OS X rendition of the classic game. Version 3.0.1 features all the houses from the original Glider Pro and adds the ability to save and load games.
