Sessions list, theme announced for MacHack 2002

MacHack, the popular gathering of Mac programmers from around the world, has announced their preliminary sessions list and the theme for this year’s event. MacHack 2002 will carry the theme “”Hakku no tetsujin,” literally Iron Man of the Hack. “These developers of the highest technical prowess do battle for 72-hours each to prove their technical prowess versus their opponents,” says the press release. Conference registration will set you back US$525 and includes access to all conference events, 3 meals and the conference banquet.

MacPlay announces $19.99 game series

MacPlay today announced the Macintosh Value Series, 12 games priced at US$19.99 each. Initial titles in the series include Bejeweled and Alchemy, two puzzle games that the company announced it has licensed from PopCap Games, which will ship in early June. Other titles include the classics Zork Grand Inquisitor, Birdie Shoot, JINNI ZEALA Pinball, and HeXen II.
