A new cartoon at PCWeenies takes a humorous look at Apple’s new “Real People” ad campaign, which was announced earlier today. The cartoon parodies the ads with another kind of user who switched from Wintel to Macintosh.

The folks at Macsurfshop have designed a new T-shirt specifically for users of dual-processor Macs. Entitled “Do you have a pair of big ones,” the new limited printing shirt is available in L-XXL for US$9.95. A clearance section of other items is also available from the Web site.

Pepsan & Associates has released Perfboard 2.0, a Mac OS X application that monitors and displays a myriad of information, including CPU usage, memory usage, hard disk usage, and network activity. Perfboard 2.0 features a vertical orientation view as well as several internal improvements and bug fixes. Perfboard is available free of charge, although a US$10 registration is encouraged to further development.

Softobe has released FolderSynchronizer 3.0B, the latest version of its robust yet easy-to-use folder and file synchronization and backup software. Version 3.0B is available for Mac OS X only and has been rewritten in Cocoa. FolderSynchronizer is provided as US$40 shareware; version 2.2.1, which is compatible with the Classic Mac OS, is available for $30.

Apple has launched beta 2 of its Mac.com Webmail interface, as noted by MacNN. Webmail now sports smarter navigation, better folder and message management, and ease of use enhancements.
