Apple has extended its Final Cut Pro 3.0 and DVD Studio Pro 1.5 promotion. Purchase Final Cut Pro 3.0 (or Final Cut Pro 3.0 upgrade) and DVD Studio Pro 1.5 and get a US$300 rebate and the Director’s Cut Finishing Pack free via mail-in redemption. The offer is good on qualifying software purchases made from May 1, 2002 through August 31, 2002. As of press time, Apple’s site has not been updated with the new information.

Acquisition of QA Wizard
Mason, Ohio-(BUSINESS WIRE)-June 14, 2002-Seapine Software, Inc. a leading
provider of defect management solutions, and San Francisco-based QA Wizard,
Inc., a technology leader in the quality assurance tool market, today
announced that Seapine Software has acquired QA Wizard. Specific terms of
the agreement were not disclosed. QA Wizard is now a wholly owned
subsidiary of Seapine Software.
QA Wizard will enable Seapine to deliver a broader range of enterprise
software testing tools.
MacChampion has released PinPoint 1.2, the latest version of its cursor enhancement tool for Mac OS X. Version 1.2 offers HotKey support, a new cursor, and better interoperability in Classic applications. PinPoint is US$10 shareware.
