Sony announces two new digital photo printers

Sony today introduced two new digital photo printers that use the company’s dye sublimation technology, a process that creates lab-quality prints in color, monochrome, sepia or paint tone. Both printers come in pearl white, and feature built-in editing and creative tools to adjust images, a Memory Stick media slot, and USB connectivity. The DPP-EX5 can also connect to a television for larger viewing and editing of photos, and is available now for US$200.

PrintToPDF 2.4.3 released

PrintToPDF 2.4.3 is the latest version of the shareware printer driver for Mac OS 9 and earlier that creates PDF (Portable Document Format) files without having the full Adobe Acrobat package installed. The update brings a host of bug fixes. PrintToPDF is priced at US$20.
