Mac OS X 10.2.1 available

Apple released the first update to Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) today. According to the release notes, Mac OS X 10.2.1 “delivers enhancements and improvements to the following applications, technologies and components: Mail, Image Capture, Help Viewer, graphics, printing, networking, Rendezvous, Kerberos, USB, FireWire, SCSI device compatibility and includes additional Digital Hub peripheral device support.” Specifically, the update addresses a very large number of compatibility issues, bug fixes, and other feature enhancements.

iTunes 3.0.1 released

Apple today released iTunes 3.0.1, the latest version of the company’s popular MP3 player. Improvements included in the update are unavailable at this time. iTunes is available via Mac OS X’s Software Update utility.

Centromedia releases Address Office 3.2

Centromedia has released Address Office 3.2, the latest version of its free information manager that stores and sorts names, addresses, phone numbers, URLs, AIM, ICQ and email addresses. The update includes several enhancements and bug fixes including more compatible filetypes for the database and improved mailing lists. Address Office is available for Mac OS 8.1 or higher and Mac OS X.
