Blackmagic Design introduces new 10 bit uncompressed video capture card

Blackmagic Design today announced the DeckLink, the company’s newest QuickTime PCI capture card. Blackmagic claims that the DeckLink is the first uncompressed 10 bit video PCI card priced under US$1,000. The card is designed specifically for connecting to digital broadcast tape decks, and features SDI video/audio input and output, a Sony-compatible RS422 serial deck control port, a 2x speed PCI interface running at 66MHz, and supports 64 bit rendering.

ICQ 3.2 update posted
