MacCSE Certification pricing lowered

Press 3 has lowered the pricing of its MacCSE Certification to US$49.95. The MacCSE is an independent Mac Certification program, which offers three sixty-question exams that can be taken over a period of three months. Each exam is a certification for Mac Hardware, Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar). Passing all three exams successfully gives the exam taker a MacCSE Certification.

Virtual Programming announces new games

Virtual Programming today announced several new games currently in development, including Fuel, FireToads Software’s racing game which will also be released simultaneously with the PC/Xbox versions; Celtic Kings, Haememont’s acclaimed RTS game; and Legion, a popular game from Paradox-Entertainment. Additionally, Virtual Programming has also released a demo version of Payback.

Macromedia announces Contribute

Macromedia has announced Contribute, a new application that enables users to “easily update, add, and publish web content to existing websites without requiring technical skills beyond basic word processing.” According to the company, Contribute works with any HTML website, including those coded by hand or created with tools like Dreamweaver MX. Macromedia Contribute will be available for Windows in December for US$99, with a Mac OS X version being released in 2003.
