Tokyo’s Macworld Conference and Expo planned for this coming March has been cancelled after Apple and a number of other major vendors backed out of their plans to exhibit, according to MacUser UK. A spokeswoman for IDG World Expo Japan, the company behind the event, confirmed the show would not be held this year. However, she did note that the decision was only related to the 2003 event and what would happen the following years had yet to be decided.
