Microsoft has posted version 3.1 of its IntelliPoint driver for Mac OSX, as noted by VersionTracker. Changes in this release are unspecified at this time, but the driver will work with both the IntelliMouse Explorer and the Optical versions of Microsoft’s input device. Additionally, Microsoft also released IntelliPoint 2.3 for Mac OS 8.6 or higher.
