In David Kushner’s latest Rolling Stone column, the Digital Beat, he writes of his new 20GB iPod and how it gets his vote as “the most mind-blowing invention since the water bong.” Kushner especially liked what he calls the “iPod Shuffle” — selecting the mode that plays songs or albums randomly from a users collection. “Suddenly all the forgotten songs you never listen to anymore come back to life.” Kushner ends the article with, “a great invention doesn’t just fulfill a need. It changes your life. And the iPod is truly great.”
