Shane Stanley of Myriad Communications and Ray Robertson of Scripting Matters today announced AppleScript Pro Sessions, a five-day training event featuring in-depth coverage of major scriptable applications. The event is suited for both beginning and experienced scripters, with emphasis on practical scripting information on a range of applications including QuarkXPress, InDesign, Photoshop 7, FileMaker Pro, Illustrator, Acrobat, the Mac Finder, and BBEdit, among others. AppleScript Pro Sessions will be held at the Pontchartrain Hotel in the Garden District of New Orleans, November 4-8. Early Bird pricing, available until October 1, is US$400 per day. Student discounts are available.
