RCA today announced the 10GB LYRA RD2800 MP3 player. The RD2800, which uses USB, is compatible with Mac OS X and priced US$249. A 20GB version (RD2820) will be available in August, priced at $299. RCA also announced the LYRA RD1080 Personal Digital Player, a compact unit, weighing two ounces. The RD1080 includes 128MB of internal flash memory, a digital FM tuner, a USB connector, and a slot that accepts multimedia or SD memory cards. The LYRA RD1080 is priced at $129.
