Adobe and Macromedia announced Monday that they have reached a settlement agreement on all litigation between them. Earlier this year, Adobe and Macromedia sued each other for patent infringement. On May 2, Adobe won a favorable ruling in its suit that included US$2.8 million in damages; eight days later, Macromedia won its countersuit and $4.9 million in damages. Terms of today’s settlement were not disclosed. “Customers with products from either Adobe or Macromedia will not be affected,” the statement reads.
