Apple announces new .mac-enabled applications

Apple today unveiled iCal, a calendaring application, and iSync, an application for synchronizing data with cell phones, PDAs, and the iPod. Both applications will offer .mac support, allowing users to easily share calendars and synchronize information between Macs. iCal and iSync will both be available as free downloads in September and require Mac OS X 10.2.
